The Daughter of the Alps apple, official sponsor of the Race, celebrated its 30th anniversary with a very creative international contest. Now it brings you its surprising illustrations to find inspiration.

The five Marlene® varieties (Golden Delicious, Fuji, Royal Gala, Red Delicious and Granny Smith) arrive at the 2026 edition of the Pink Tide as an undisputed source not only of flavor, but of inspiration.

In the recent international contest Marlene® celebrates 30 years, with which it has celebrated its thirtieth anniversary, the Daughter of the Alps has encouraged thousands of people to link flavor, territory, passion and emotion through different artistic proposals. A contest that recognized the creativity of participants in four categories: Art, Cooking, Music and Literature.

The artworks have surprised with the diversity of styles with which participants have expressed their interpretations and artistic visions, the sensory and the emotional, around the world of the apple. On the verge of celebrating the Women’s Race in Valencia, Marlene® joins the artistic side of the capital of the Turia, named World Design Capital in 2022 and recognized for its Valencia Design Fest, with an enormous lineup of participating works.

Do you need a moment of visual inspiration before or after the Race? Enter this link and discover each of the artistic works that have participated, from photo compositions, collages, portraits or illustrations with very diverse influences. Such as, for example, the winning piece, from Spain, by illustrator Marian Virginia Fernández Prado. Inspired by Cézanne’s apples, the fruit becomes a symbol of life, heritage and continuity. “The work reminds us that we are part of the earth, that the organic and the human are not separated, and that tradition can endure through a contemporary language,” explains Marian herself who will now see her work featured on Marlene© promotional materials, labels and advertisements in the brand’s various international communication campaigns.
