The circuit will return to the Aragonese capital to celebrate a new day of sport, health, and commitment. Race bibs will be available this Wednesday, September 2 on the official race website.

The Central Lechera Asturiana Women's Race will once again take over the streets of Zaragoza next Sunday, November 8. Starting this Wednesday, September 2, all women who want to be part of one of the most massive and special events on the city's sporting calendar will be able to complete their registration through the official race website.

The Zaragoza race will be the seventh stop of the 2026 national circuit, after taking place in Gran Canaria, Madrid, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Valencia and Gijón, and following the event scheduled in A Coruña on September 27. After its stop in the Aragonese capital, the circuit will continue to Seville on November 15, and will close the season in Barcelona on November 22.

One of the city's most massive sporting events

Zaragoza will once again become the setting for a great sporting day bringing together women of very diverse profiles and ages. Participants will be able to complete the course running or walking alongside friends, relatives and colleagues, in an event that promotes physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits, while also championing the role of women and giving visibility to different social causes.

The city faces this new edition after a historic turnout in 2025, when the Women's Race brought together 15,000 participants, consolidating itself as one of the most massive events on the circuit.

The social commitment will also be present through the +SolidariAs section, which in Zaragoza will feature among its leading projects Somos Más, Women Survivors of Gender Violence, an Aragonese association formed and led by women who have gone through situations of gender violence.

The organization, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2026, works so that no woman has to face her recovery process alone. Among its main initiatives is the Mentoras-Acompañantes program, based on peer support, together with psychological care, prevention, awareness and training actions. The association will also be present at the Runner's Expo, where participants will be able to learn more about its work.

In addition, as in recent editions, 100% charity race bibs will go on sale in support of AMAC-GEMA, the Association of Aragonese Women with Genital and Breast Cancer.

A firm commitment to health, research and women's rights

The Women's Race maintains its commitment to health, research and women's rights. In 2025, the circuit allocated 20% of registration revenue to social causes, a commitment that continues in 2026 and whose figures can be consulted on its transparency portal.

Last year, the national circuit surpassed the historic figure of 1,500,000 accumulated participants since its creation in 2004, consolidating itself as the largest women's sporting event in Europe. A trajectory that continues to grow based on the same structural social commitment that has accompanied it since its origin, present in every edition through its support for health, breast cancer research, women's rights and the fight against gender violence.

In 2026 the Central Lechera Asturiana Women's Race has the main sponsorship of Central Lechera Asturiana, Oysho and Banco Santander, together with Marlene, Octopus Energy and Neutrogena. Volvo is the official vehicle and Correos Expresss the official logistics provider. Also collaborating are Cosmo, Cadena Dial and the Daiichi Sankyo | AstraZeneca Alliance. In addition, in Zaragoza the following join as local sponsors: Institutos Odontológicos, Fontarel, GOYA, Ziaja, Compeed, Mann+Hummel, the Tu Corazón corre project and the Good Move Fron Europe initiative, which will accompany participants in this new edition.
