Regulations of the XXI Women’s Race “Central Lechera Asturiana” Barcelona 2025

It will be the eighth race of the XXI Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race Circuit 2025. It will be organized by the events department of Sport Life magazine of the publishing group SPORT LIFE IBÉRICA, S.A, in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council.

SCHEDULE

It will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 starting at 09:00.

PARTICIPATION. REGISTRATION EXCLUSIVE FOR WOMEN

All women over 8 years old who wish may take part in this race, as long as they are correctly registered, both in time and form. PARTICIPATION IN THE RACE WITHOUT THE OFFICIAL BIB IS PROHIBITED.

DISTANCE AND COURSE

The race will be held this year on a new 7.6‑kilometer course, starting on Av. Marqués de l’Argentera, next to the Estación de Francia, and finishing on Paseo Pujades.

To make access easier and avoid crowding in the station area, we recommend arriving at the Start area via Passeig de Lluís Companys and Passeig Picasso, where you will find a wider and more comfortable space to move towards the start corrals. In addition, it will help you visually locate the finish‑line areas for when you complete the race (bag drop, aerobics zone, and final aid station).

The most practical public transport option is to use the Arc de Triomf metro and Renfe station, located less than a 5‑minute walk from the Start. We remind you that, whenever possible, you should travel by public transport to contribute to better mobility and ensure quicker and safer access.

The course is as follows:

Start: Av. Marquès de l’Argentera (next to Estación de Francia).

Course:Av. Marquès de l’Argentera at the height of C. Rere Palau – Pg de Colom – PgJosepCarner – Paral·lel – Rda Sant Pau – Urgell – Gran Via – Marina – Ausiàs March – Pg de Sant Joan – Av Vilanova – Lluis Companys (against traffic flow) – Buenaventura Muñoz – Wellington (against traffic flow) – Av Pujades.

Finish:  Av Pujades (between Nàpols and Roger de Flor).

REGISTRATION

From September 16, 2025 until Thursday, November 13, 2025, or until the 36,000 available bibs are sold out.

Registration fee: €13.95 until November 9; from November 10 to 13 it will be €14.95 (VAT and management fees included). Payment will be made at the time of signing up on the race website.

There is also the possibility of purchasing up to 50 bibs that are 100% charity in support of the Associació de Dones Ca l’Aurèlia and 100 bibs 100% charity benefiting SpecialOlympics.

If you are a group of 20 or more women, send an email to carreradelamujer@mpib.es and we will provide you with a group registration method.

Registrations at the “Sport Woman” Expo are allowed as long as spots remain available.

This year participation will be limited to 36,000 women. If sold out, we will open a waiting list in case participation can be expanded at the time of the event.

We offer the option of sending the bib, T‑shirt and goody bag to your home; shipping fees must be paid at registration (€5.45 individual and €7.45 for groups, mainland only). They can only be sent to those who register before October 30 at 23:59 or until the available shipping quota is filled.

Once the registration is completed, the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, except if the race is suspended by municipal or health authorities.

T‑SHIRT, BIB‑CHIP AND RUNNER’S BAG PICK‑UP

The Runner’s Expo will take place at the La Mar Bella Sports Pavilion (Avenida Litoral 86‑96), where the bib and the official Oysho “Pink Wave” T‑shirt can be collected on Friday, November 14, and Saturday, November 15, from 10:00 to 20:00. It is essential to present the printed registration confirmation email sent by the organization, your ID or proof of registration at the time of pick‑up. Digital formats are also valid (PDF on your phone or a photo of the participant’s ID and all registered participants).
