Location: Women’s Race Runner Expo in Madrid at the Gallur Sports Center (Avenida de Angel Sanz Briz, Metro: Laguna).

Boys and girls from 0 to 12 years old may take part.

Bib pickup: At the expo from 4 p.m.

Start of the races: 5:30 p.m.

All participants will wear bib number 1 and will receive a medal at the finish.

On July 26, 2022, after almost 6 years fighting Medulloblastoma, Oscar at 9 years old went towards another star… For him and with him, we, his parents Valérie Joly and Martín Segado, decided to continue fighting childhood cancer to defeat it. In the spring of 2023, the OC Foundation, Oscar Contigo, was born. We are committed to the fight against childhood cancer by supporting research to better understand the underlying causes of cancer in children and improve available treatments. We collaborate with leading researchers and medical centers to advance the understanding of this disease.

The project to which all the funds from these kids’ races will be dedicated is the grant for the training at the Gustave Roussy Institute in Paris of a Spanish Pediatric Oncologist for 2026-2027.

The OC Against Cancer Foundation, within the framework of its collaboration agreement with Gustave Roussy, announces an international one-year clinical training grant aimed at a Spanish pediatric oncologist fluent in Spanish and French. The stay will take place in the Pediatric and Adolescent Oncology Department of said center from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027. This stay will allow them to acquire knowledge of the latest and most innovative treatments against childhood cancer so they can apply them upon returning to Spain.
