It will be the fifth race of the XXII “Central Lechera Asturiana” Women’s Race Circuit 2026. It will be organized by the events department of Sport Life Ibérica, S.A.U, in collaboration with the Gijón City Council.
It will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026 starting at 10:00 a.m.
All women over 8 years old who wish to may take part in this race, provided they are correctly registered, both in time and form. PARTICIPATION IN THE RACE WITHOUT THE OFFICIAL BIB IS FORBIDDEN.
The race will take place over a course of approximately 5 kilometers, starting on Avenida Albert Einstein and finishing at Las Mestas Equestrian Center.
Start on Avda Albert Einstein, Justo del Castillo Street; Doctor Fleming promenade (towards San Lorenzo beach); continue along Avda. de Rufo García Rendueles; return along the same avenue to Avenida de Castilla; Torcuato Fernández Miranda St.; Sporting St.; Jesús Revuelta Diego St. until entering the Las Mestas Racetrack, where the Finish line is located.
Registration fees will be paid at the time of signing up on the race website.
Registration fee: €13.95 (includes VAT and Deporticket management fees) from Tuesday, April 14 to Sunday, June 14 at 11:59 p.m. And it will be €14.95 from Monday, June 15 to Friday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. Or until the 6,000 available entries are sold out.
There will also be 50 charity bibs at €20.95 each (full donation) in benefit of the Galbán Association https://asociaciongalban.org/.

No race-day registrations will be accepted.
We offer the option to ship the bib, T-shirt, and runner’s bag to the participant’s home; shipping costs must be paid (individual shipment €5.45, and group shipment of two or three participants €7.45). They can only be shipped to those who register before Friday, May 29 at 11:59 p.m. or until the shipping quota is sold out. Shipments are made only within the peninsula. No shipments to the Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or the Canary Islands.
Once registration is completed, the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, except if the race is suspended by municipal or health authorities.
Saturday, June 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Palacio de Deportes de la Guía "Presidente Adolfo Suárez" (Paseo del Doctor Flemming, 929).
It is essential to present a printed copy of the registration confirmation email sent by the organization, your ID card or proof of registration at the time of pick-up. A digital format will also be accepted (PDF on your phone or a photo of the participant’s ID card and all registered participants).
NOTE: T-shirt sizes will be handed out strictly in order of bib-chip collection. The organization cannot guarantee that all participants will receive the T-shirt size they requested, as the production takes place before registration opens.

The timing chip is integrated into the bib, and it will not need to be picked up or returned on race day. Only the chip provided by the organization may be used, and it does not need to be returned at the end of the race.
The Organization will have ambulances and a specialized medical service available for the runners. The ambulances will be present along the course, at the start, and at the finish.
The unofficial general results, as well as a large photo gallery of the participants in the race, will be published on the website www.carreradelamujer.com
The competition’s medical service and the race referees are authorized to withdraw during the race:
Any athlete who shows signs of poor physical condition.
Any athlete who does not complete the full course.
Any athlete who displays unsportsmanlike behavior.
The only vehicles authorized to follow the race are those designated and accredited by the Organization. It is strictly forbidden to follow the runners by car, motorbike, or bicycle due to the danger it may pose to the athletes.
There will be a free bag drop service located next to the stands of the Las Mestas Athletics Stadium, from 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 21.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three in each category. At the time of the awards ceremony, the organization may request the winning teams (in the company, gym, and association categories) to provide proof of membership. Family record books may also be requested from winners in the family categories, as well as ID cards for age group categories.
All participants will be covered by a Collective Accident and Civil Liability Insurance policy contracted by the organization. Excluded will be cases derived from latent conditions, recklessness, negligence, violation of laws, etc. Also excluded will be incidents occurring during travel to or from the event location.
Participants must follow at all times the instructions given by the Organizers through volunteers, staff, officials, accredited personnel or the official PA system. Each runner takes part in the Women’s Race under her own sole responsibility and declares that she has a sufficient fitness level to take on the event. The Organizers recommend all runners undergo a medical check‑up and/or a stress test before the start. The Organizers decline all responsibility for any damages participants may suffer or cause to third parties in the hours following their participation in the race.
All participants, by completing their registration, accept these regulations and, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (GDPR), give their consent for the processing of the personal data provided through their registration as well as their image within the event for the purposes of organization, execution and promotion of the event, and for sporting, promotional or commercial purposes. This data will be incorporated into a file owned by Motorpress Ibérica, SA, registered in the General Registry of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. You are hereby informed that you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition established in said Law by means of a written request addressed to the registered office of Sport Life Ibérica, C/ Nestares, 20, 28045 - Madrid.
Participation in the event is under the participants’ responsibility and at their own risk. By registering, the participant states that she is physically fit for the event. The organizers decline all responsibility for any damages participants may cause or that may arise from them to third parties during the event.
