This Sunday, June 7, COSMO takes over Valencia as the official broadcaster of the biggest women’s sporting event in Europe.
Two decades later, the alliance between COSMO and the Women’s Race continues setting the pace of the Pink Wave. COSMO is once again the official broadcaster of the largest women’s sports event in Europe, strengthening a collaboration that has become an essential part of its growth and visibility.
Since joining in 2005, COSMO has helped amplify the social impact and advocacy message of the Women’s Race, which throughout its history has already brought together more than 1.6 million participants. This year the channel will continue showcasing the race across all its platforms and will have a prominent presence at every event with the iconic COSMO ARCH, one of the most recognizable markers on the course.
This Sunday, June 7, the Pink Wave will run through Valencia in a race that is already approaching 4,000 registered women. In 2026 the national Women’s Race circuit will pass through nine Spanish cities, bringing together more than 100,000 women. The first event took place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on March 15, followed by Madrid on May 10, Vitoria-Gasteiz on May 31, and Gijón on June 21.
After the summer break, the circuit continues in A Coruña on September 27, Zaragoza on November 8, and Sevilla on November 15, finishing in Barcelona on November 22. Registration for the first events is already available through the official website. In addition, the parallel activities at the pre-race runner expos will be strengthened, and the massive fitness and aerobics festivals after each race will be maintained.
True to its commitment to society, COSMO continues running in the Women’s Race, reflecting the passion of thousands of women from all over Spain. The goals of this event include promoting running and aerobic exercise among women of all ages, fighting cancer, raising funds to support research, increasing awareness about the importance of early prevention, as well as combating gender-based violence and the social and educational inequalities that women face in all areas.
