It will be the first race of the XXII Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Run Circuit. It will be organized by the Sport Life Ibérica Sports Events Department, in collaboration with the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
It will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026 starting at 10:00 a.m., with separate starts for runners and walkers.
All women over 8 years old who wish to participate may do so, provided they are properly registered, both in time and form.
PARTICIPATION IN THE RACE WITHOUT THE OFFICIAL BIB IS PROHIBITED.
5 km starting at Plaza de Canarias (next to the bus station) and finishing at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium on Las Canteras Beach.
Registration fee: €13.95 (includes taxes and handling fees) from Thursday, January 8 at 00:01 a.m. until Sunday, March 8 at 11:59 p.m.
From Monday, March 9 until Friday, March 13 at 8:00 p.m. the price will be €14.95.
Fees will be paid at the time of signing up on the race website and until reaching the 4,000 available entries.
If there are available entries, they may be purchased on Saturday the 14th, in person, in the bib pick-up area (incidences), at a price of €20.
In addition, there will be 100 charity bibs at €20.95 each (full donation) in support of the Canary Association for Breast and Gynecological Cancer (ACCM): https://www.accmyg.org/

No registrations will be accepted on race day.
Once registration is completed, the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, except if the race is suspended by municipal or health authorities.
Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Las Arenas Shopping Center (Ctra. del Rincón, s/n, Upper Level Terrace: https://cclasarenas.com/). When registering, participants will choose time slots (400 people per hour).
It is essential to present the printed registration confirmation email sent by the organization, an ID card, or the registration receipt at the time of pick-up. A digital format is also valid (PDF on the phone or a photo of the registered participant’s ID and of all registered participants).
Products purchased beforehand on the website during registration may also be collected at the Women’s Run merchandising stand.

The timing chip will be attached to the bib and does not need to be collected separately or returned on race day. Only the chip provided by the organization may be used and it does not need to be returned after the race.
The Organization will have ambulances and a specialized medical service available for runners. Ambulances will be present along the course, at the start, and at the finish line.
The provisional general results will be published on the website www.carreradelamujer.com where a certificate may also be downloaded
The event’s medical service and race referees are authorized to withdraw during the race:
Any athlete showing poor physical condition.
Any athlete who does not complete the full course.
Any athlete who displays unsportsmanlike behavior.
The only vehicles authorized to follow the race are those designated and accredited by the Organization. It is strictly forbidden to follow the runners by car, motorcycle or bicycle, due to the danger it may pose to the athletes.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category. At the time of the awards ceremony, the organization may request winning teams (in company, gym, and association categories) to provide a certificate of membership. The family record book may also be requested from winners in family categories, as well as ID in age-group categories.
All participants will be covered by a Collective Accident and Civil Liability Insurance policy contracted by the organization. Excluded will be incidents resulting from latent conditions, recklessness, negligence, violation of laws, etc. Also excluded will be incidents occurring during travel to and from the place where the race is held.
Participants must follow at all times the instructions given by the Organization through volunteers, technicians, judges, accredited personnel or the official PA system. Each runner takes part in the Women’s Run under her own responsibility and declares that she has a sufficient fitness level to complete the race. The Organization recommends all runners to undergo a medical check-up and/or a stress test before the start.
The Organization declines all responsibility for any damage participants may suffer or cause to third parties in the hours following their participation in the race.
All participants, by completing their registration, accept these rules and, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data of natural persons (GDPR), give their consent for the processing of the personal data provided through their registration as well as their image within the race for the purposes of the event’s organization, development and promotion, and for sporting, promotional or commercial purposes. These data will be included in a file owned by Sport Life Ibérica, S.A.U., registered in the General Register of the Spanish Agency for Data Protection. We inform you that you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition established in said Law through a written request addressed to the registered office of Sport Life Ibérica, C/ Nestares, 20, 28045 - Madrid.
